Technisoft is pleased to announce the release of our new field application — VMmobile Meters for Service Manager 5.5A.

For organizations that carry out a large volume of meter readings — utilities, mining, the printing industry and other meter focused organizations, this is a must have application.

VMmobile Meters is simple to use where the user is taken through a natural flow:

1. Select and download meters 2. Take readings and store them locally 3. Upload readings and refresh the local database

VMmobile Meters consists of two components:

• a Server application which performs the communication with Sage Accpac ERP
• a Client application which is installed on each mobile PDA or notebook and communicates with the Server application

VMmobile Meters is built on our new R4 mobile platform – a modern touch based mobile user interface with an architecture that is simple and platform independent.

VMmobile Meters is offered at a one off price with no licensing limitations, however each user must be an "active" Service Manager employee.
